Assisted Living Advisors of Acadiana is Lafayette, Louisiana’s first and only local, independently owned senior placement agency. We assist with placement in assisted living and independent living communities, memory care communities and home health. We also provide consultation on nursing home placement. It is our goal to make what can be a difficult and stressful transition into senior living communities as easy as possible for families and their loved ones.
You will be given a personal consultation and care assessment to learn about your loved one’s specific care needs, lifestyle preferences, and budget. Your advisor will determine which level of care is appropriate for you loved one; assisted living, independent living, memory care, home health, or a nursing home. From this information, a Care Profile is created and we match you with the best senior living communities according to your Profile.
We provide a one-on-one experience, touring the communities with you. With our industry insider knowledge, we are well versed in what to look for when assisting you in locating the proper senior living for your loved one, including locating a safe and secure community that complies with state and federal regulations.
Once an assisted living community is selected, we will aid you in filling out paperwork and even facilitate your moving needs. We will help you through the entire process, from start to finish at NO COST TO YOU!
Meet the Founder of Senior Living Advisors of Acadiana
Hello, I am Nick Sarver, founder of Senior Living Advisors of Acadiana. I am a licensed nursing home administrator with experience in running skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and home health agencies. Throughout my career, I have realized the overwhelming burden that transitioning loved ones into long-term senior care can place on a family. Through these experiences, my passion to help families cultivated Senior Living Advisors of Acadiana.
My experience in long-term care administration provides objective advice when helping your loved one find their forever assisted living community. I fully understand that placement is not one size fits all; it’s complex and needs to be tailored to individual needs and wants. I am dedicated to helping our clients every step of the way as they make the transition to assisted care with compassion and understanding. My care and respect for clients, combined with my experience and knowledge ensures that each individual and family we help will find the proper placement.
I carefully choose the communities we represent and complete a thorough site tour and review of state survey inspections, allowing families to rest assured that they are selecting a quality community in which their loved one can live an enriched life and receive top-notch, quality care. As Senior Placement Advisors, I have dedicated my service to developing an advanced knowledge of aging so we can assist seniors and their families in their time of need.
